Every message sent between an athlete and a professional (scout, agent, sponsor, or club staff) is automatically copied to the athlete's safeguarding team. For under-16s, that's a parent/guardian and a coach. For 16-17s, the parent remains mandatory but the athlete can choose their second contact. For adults, it's contacts they choose. This is built into the infrastructure, not a setting that can be turned off.

Guardians scan a government-issued photo ID (passport or driving licence), then complete a real-time liveness check — the camera matches their face to the ID while they read aloud: "I confirm I am the legal guardian of [athlete name]." This creates an auditable biometric record. Guardians must be 25 or older, and the platform independently cross-checks their identity against the athlete's club or governing body records. The athlete, the guardian, and the institution all have to tell the same story.
